Garlyk was founded by Ben Van Der Spuy in early 2004. Ben has previously been an Aeronautical Engineer, IT Management Consultant and now a full time developer (Zend Certified Engineer), systems administrator, database administrator, and systems architect.

Garlyk's office is based at Challenge House, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

Garlyk does not churn out websites. Instead, Garlyk works closely with a few companies over an extended period of time to deliver complex web based systems hand crafted for their business.

Since Garlyk's inception, the company has only ever had two or three complex projects on the go at any one time. This ensures that Garlyk's customers get the focus and delivered system they deserve.
